Just last month, we here at THG took a look at Larissa Lima and Eric Nichols’ relationship.
Their on-again, off-again romance had major and dramatic ups and downs.
Now, Larissa and Eric have broken up — possibly for good, this time.
Larissa is promising to tell her fans more. For now, she just has one request.
“I ask all my supporters to unfollow Eric if you are following him,” Larissa began on her Instagram Stories over the weekend.
She continued: “I will speak my truth.”
But, Larissa explained, she will only do so “once I’m not living with him anymore.”
“His family are good people,” Larissa emphasized.
She wrote that his relatives “don’t deserve to be blamed for his behavior.”
Larissa has not yet specified what that behavior may be.
“Once I move out from Colorado,” Larissa promised.
“I will explain everything,” she vowed.
Larissa wrote that she will discuss things “that I always wanted to talk about, but couldn’t.”
Larissa clarified that her intention is “not to talk bad about anyone.”
“But,” she explained, “share what I have been through here.”
“And,” Larissa hopes, “help other girls in the future.”
Some fans were of course worried about her safety, but Larissa assured them: “I’m good!”
“I had to forgive myself for allowing things to happen to me,” she explained.
“Because I didn’t know better,” she continued, “and was alone here in the USA.”
“After my divorce with Colt,” Larissa related, “I was in the ocean swimming alone.”
Her metaphor continued: “And [I] had to survive.”
Any port in a storm isn’t a saying by accident. Larissa is not the first to feel this way.
“Not going to bash anyone,” Larissa again emphasized.
She added that she is going to “just speak my truth.”
Larissa hopes that doing so will allow her “to help others in the same situation.”
“Now I have friends that are helping me,” Larissa added.
As for what she plans to share about her split, she has only offered hints.
For example, she shared a post to her Instagram Stories about why people find themselves in toxic relationships.
The post referred to red flags, disrespect, and letting things slide out of fear of being alone.
Larissa is certainly a person who desires companionship and affection.
And after so many months of emotional neglect during her engagement and marriage to Colt, she found that in Eric.
We do not know exactly what drove Larissa and Eric to break up this time.
They have certainly had breakups before during their (just barely) more than two years of on-again, off-again.
We have previously observed that Larissa and Eric have a lot of affection for each other, but both have dramatic personalities.
Having big, dramatic personalities is something in common, but not necessarily helpful.
There is such a thing as having too much in common for a relationship to be healthy.
That said, from the way that Larissa is talking, it sounds like there may be more to this split.
